Life Lessons at 35

I found out, in the last few years, mainly the last 6 months, more about life and living that I learned in all my previous 34 years.

This is the year the greatest man I knew died.

This is the year his youngest son didn't attend the funeral.

This is the year, that everyone I put up on that pedestal, fell off. although I believe some may have jumped off with great enthusiatium

I found out the greatest man I knew lied too.

knowing now, I wish I had not gone to the funeral either.

How I spent Thanksgiving 2002 in jail.

  I found myself in jail around this time in 2002. I can not remember which day it was. The day after or before thanksgiving. Its a pretty long story. The Story actually began with Sept 11, 2001.

 Now that I got ya wonderin, i will tell the whole story in a little bit.  

Buckeye's

Well time goes by. I started this blog with the high hopes of posting a new story every day or at least once a week.

 But like most the other projects I start, I have yet to complete this  one, or at lease work on it.

 The last 2-3 weeks I have found myself adapting to living with 3 other people. And also adapting to the major change in my economic system. The addition of a family has changed my finances, but at least it is for the good.

So Basically I have spent the last week working and moving. I have been putting alot of time into www.buckeyeappliancerepair.com

 It has kept me busy. Almost a full time job, well it pretty much is. I get over whelmed with calls at times and hope to add a full time tech soon. I already have 1 HVAC guy busy.

other than that, i promise to get into some of those "good" stories around the holidays.

Hello World

We all have a story to tell. Now comes my time. I mean heck, what else is there to do? The only think I can decide is where to start?

It was a cold and rainy night. The air was think with dew. You know like when its 50 in the winter. Warm, but not really warm. When its warmer than it has been, but not like in the summer warm. It makes the mist hang close to the cold ground. The night seems still and quiet....  

 No, not really, I don't think it was raining. I mean, what was I talking about anyway? Oh yeah, something for the first blog? It should not be hard. I have been told many times that If I wrote a book about my life, I could become rich from the sell of my story. Made for movie story type stuff.  

I think I will start with things I have done.


1. Been to jail, thats always a good one
2. Been to the Navy.
3. Lived in a van down by the river.
4. Drove semi truck for a living.
5. Ran from the Law. (hence the been to jail one)
6. Flown a plane.
7. Wrecked a car 
8. Volunteered at a hospital.
9. Almost got married, twice.
10. Done every drug know to man at least once. Just to try it of course.
11. Ran my own Business.
12. Believe in and gave my life to God and Jesus.
13. Lost serveral good friends to drugs, and alcohol.
14. Been a Pall Bearer
15. Been involved in AA
17. Had my heart broken.
18. Fell from a roof and broke my elbow.
19. Own a handgun.
20. Learned some spanish at work.
21. Been A Carpenter, plumber, electrician, roofer, sider, painter, etc.
22. Been a Baptist.
23. Been Homeless
24. Been a Home owner
25. Been a landlord.
26. owned a farm.
27. Been to most of the east coast.
28. Been to mexico
29. Been a dad, although I don't have any of my own.
30. been in a ambulance
31. been in the hospital over night.
32. been an orphan or bastard child if you prefer.
33. Been kicked out of school.
34. Been abused as a child.
35. Been addicted to a drug.
36. Seen God
37. Tried Suicide
38. Found Hope.
39. Lost hope.


This is just a short list I am working on for material for my book. Each one of these 39 items can be a chapter in my life. I will put the ink to the paper for each item as this blog continues.
